Olympia Lightning Bolt , Usain Bolt

Olympic legend Usain Bolt shared pictures of his first child on Twitter as he wished his partner Kasi Bennett happy birthday, saying they have “started a new chapter together with our daughter Olympia Lightning Bolt”.

The pair welcomed their first child on May 14 but this is the first time the couple have revealed her name or shared photos of the new arrival. Bolt shared the photos in honor of his girlfriend, Kasi Bennett’s, birthday.

“Now we have started a new chapter together with our daughter Olympia Lightning Bolt I look forward to what the future will bring for us but be reassured that I will be the ROCK for this family,” Bolt wrote on Instagram.

The couple have been dating since 2014 but only went public in 2016, just before he retired from athletics after suffering a hamstring injury at the 2017 world championships.

Bolt is an 11-time world champion and the only man in history to win gold at three successive Olympics, doing so in 2008, 2012 and 2016.

He retired after the 2017 World Championships in London after suffered a hamstring injury in what was the final race of his career.

In March they held a gender reveal party and he later told fans he was set to become a “girl dad”.

Bolt first announced the pregnancy in an Instagram snap in January, when he posted an image of the 30-year-old Bennett cradling her baby bump.

In the caption he added the words: “I just want to say a KING or QUEEN is about to be HERE.”
